What University Results does

University Results is an independent, editorially-run website that tracks university results, admission cycles and higher-education policy updates for students in India and abroad. We are not affiliated with any university, testing agency, or government department — everything we publish is sourced from official notifications, press releases and public ranking data, and linked back to that source.

Why we started this site

Every exam season, the same information gets scattered across a dozen different PDFs, portals and press briefings, each written in language built for administrators rather than the student trying to make a decision under a deadline. We built this site to put that information in one consistent, easy-to-scan place, and to explain not just what was announced but what it actually means for the next step you need to take.

Our editorial approach

• We publish a result or notification only after it has been officially declared — we do not speculate on unannounced outcomes.
• Every article links to the original source (university notice, NTA/UGC circular, or official ranking body) so you can verify details yourself.
• We clearly separate confirmed information from general guidance or expectation, especially around cutoffs, fees, and dates, since these vary year to year.
• Rankings referenced on this site (for example, in our Top Universities section) are attributed to their source — QS, Times Higher Education, or NIRF — and we note that methodologies differ between agencies.
