UNILESA Admission Portal 2026/2027 How to Apply as a Fresher

The University of Ilesa (UNILESA), Osun State, has officially opened its admission portal for the 2026/2027 academic session. Fresh UTME candidates and Direct Entry applicants can now register for the university's Post-UTME screening exercise ahead of the new intake.

Key Dates

The portal opened on 18th May 2026 and is scheduled to close on 30th September 2026. Applicants are advised not to wait until the last minute, as portal traffic tends to increase sharply as the deadline approaches.

Who Can Apply

  • Candidates who chose UNILESA as their first-choice institution in the 2026 UTME with a score of 160 or above
  • Candidates who did not choose UNILESA initially but scored 160+, and are willing to change their first choice to UNILESA via the JAMB CAPS portal
  • Direct Entry candidates, who must also apply through the JAMB DE platform in addition to the university's portal
  • Applicants must be at least 16 years old by 30th September 2026

O'Level Requirements

Candidates need a minimum of five credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in not more than two sittings. Accepted results include WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, and the Senior Arabic and Islamic Secondary School Certificate Examination (SAISSCE). Applicants should confirm the specific subject combination required for their chosen programme before submitting the form, since a mismatch can affect the outcome of an application.

How to Apply

  • Visit the official admission portal at admissions.unilesa.edu.ng
  • Register with a valid email address and phone number to create an applicant profile
  • Fill in your JAMB registration number, UTME score, and personal details
  • Pay the non-refundable screening fee through the payment option indicated on the portal
  • Upload the required documents and submit the form before the closing date
  • Direct Entry candidates should also complete the corresponding application on the JAMB DE portal

Application Fee

The screening fee shown on the official portal is ₦4,000, though this can vary slightly depending on payment gateway charges. Applicants should always confirm the exact amount on the portal itself before making a payment.

Available Programmes

UNILESA offers programmes across several faculties, including Health Sciences (Nursing, Anatomy, Physiology, Radiography, Physiotherapy, Optometry, Dental Therapy, and Pharmacology), the Faculty of Education, and other newly approved academic programmes. Applicants should review the full list of programmes and their specific entry requirements on the university's website before applying.

Important Notice

UNILESA has repeatedly warned that it does not work with agents or consultants for admission. Applicants should apply only through the official portal and report any third party claiming to guarantee admission on the university's behalf.
