UDS Admission Portal 2026/2027: How to Apply, Fees & Deadlines

The University for Development Studies (UDS) has officially opened applications for the 2026/2027 academic year, inviting both Ghanaian and international students to apply for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes across its Tamale, Nyankpala, and other campuses.

How to Apply

Applicants must go through the university's official online portal to begin the process.

  • Visit the UDS Admissions Portal
  • Click "Apply Now" and select the Sign Up tab to register an account
  • Choose your applicant category — Ghanaian or International Student
  • Fill in your personal and contact details accurately
  • Purchase an e-voucher to obtain your login PIN and Serial Number

Application Fees

E-vouchers are required to start an application and are non-refundable once purchased.

  • Undergraduate applications: GH¢200
  • Postgraduate applications: GH¢250

Where to Buy the E-Voucher

E-vouchers are sold at eight designated banks nationwide: GCB Bank, Prudential Bank, NIB, ADB, Stanbic Bank, Zenith Bank, Access Bank, and Ecobank.

Who Can Apply

WASSCE candidates sitting the May/June 2026 exams may apply as Awaiting Results applicants. Mature applicants aged 25 or older with at least three years of relevant work experience can also apply, subject to passing an entrance exam or interview.
