Punjabi University Patiala Result 2026: Check UG & PG Semester Results at results.pupexamination.ac.in

Punjabi University, Patiala (PUP) is releasing its 2026 semester results in phases on the official examination portal. Students who appeared in the November 2025, December 2025 and May 2026 sessions can check their provisional marksheet using their roll number.

Results are published at results.pupexamination.ac.in. General examination notices are available on the university website, punjabiuniversity.ac.in.

How to check your PUP result

  • Go to the official portal: results.pupexamination.ac.in
  • Find your course and semester in the list of declared results, or use the "Quick Search Result" option
  • Enter your roll number exactly as printed on your admit card
  • Click Submit to load your result on screen
  • Download or print a copy for your records

Some programmes may ask for a registration number instead of, or along with, the roll number.

The university has declared results for more than 40 UG and PG programmes across Humanities, Sciences, Commerce, Law, Engineering, Computer Applications and Performing Arts.

Reappear results for several courses have also been uploaded alongside the regular ones.

Result not showing yet?

Because the university declares results batch by batch, a blank or "record not found" message usually means your course and semester have not been uploaded yet rather than that something is wrong with your entry.

Check the spelling of your roll number first, then revisit the portal after a day or two. New course links are added regularly through the result cycle.

After the result is out

The result you download online is provisional. The university treats the official gazette as the final confirmation of marks, and the printed detailed marks card is issued separately by the examination branch.

Students who are not satisfied with their marks can apply for re-evaluation or rechecking within the window announced by the examination branch. Fees and last dates are notified course-wise, so check the latest notice on punjabiuniversity.ac.in before applying.

For any mismatch in name, roll number or subject details on the marksheet, contact the Controller of Examinations office at Punjabi University, Patiala with your admit card and a printout of the online result.
