About Noida International University
Established in 2010 by an Act of the Uttar Pradesh state legislature, NIU is a private state university located on the Yamuna Expressway in Gautam Buddh Nagar. It runs schools covering Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy, Sciences, Management, Law, Nursing, Journalism, Fine Arts, Architecture, Education, Aviation & Hospitality, and Allied Health Sciences.
NIU Admission Process 2026-27
Admission routes at NIU include the university's own NSAT (NIU Student Aptitude Test) for technical programmes, a Group Discussion/Personal Interview for non-technical programmes, or national/state-level exams such as JEE Main, CUET, CAT, MAT, XAT and GATE. The process runs in four steps:
- Fill and submit the online application form along with the required documents
- Document verification, followed by an entrance test or GD/PI where applicable
- Pay the semester/annual fee to confirm your seat
- Receive your admission confirmation/offer letter
A non-refundable application fee of ₹1,100 applies when submitting the online form.

- Graduation mark sheet for PG applicants
- AIU equivalence certificate (if applicable)

- B.Tech (CSE and specialisations): ₹5.69 lakh – ₹7.84 lakh (4 years)
- BBA (various specialisations): ₹4.88 lakh (3-4 years)
- B.Com (Hons.): ₹3.73 lakh (3-4 years)
- BCA: ₹3.80 lakh – ₹4.56 lakh (3-4 years)
- B.Pharm (with IBM AI certification): ₹7.38 lakh (4 years)
- BA LLB (Hons.) / BBA LLB: ₹6.16 lakh – ₹6.62 lakh (5 years)
- B.Sc. Nursing: ₹7.07 lakh (4 years)
- MBA (dual specialisation): ₹3.97 lakh (2 years)

A one-time refundable security deposit of ₹10,000 applies to most programmes. Scholarships, where applicable, are adjusted only against the first year's tuition fee, and an additional ₹2,500 is charged in the final semester towards the award of degree.

Scholarships & Reservations
NIU offers merit-based scholarships along with UP state and Central Sector scholarships to eligible students. Reservation norms followed are SC 15%, ST 7.5%, OBC 27%, EWS 10% and PwBD 5%.
