NEET PG 2026 Result Declared Check Scorecard, Cut-Off Marks and Counselling Schedule

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) declared the NEET PG 2026 result today, September 24, 2026, ahead of the September 30 deadline set in the official schedule. The result is available in PDF format on the official websites.

Exam Background

NEET PG 2026 was conducted on August 30, 2026. A re-examination was held on September 5, 2026 for a small group of candidates whose test was disrupted by a technical and power failure at two Jaipur centres. More than 2.66 lakh candidates appeared for the exam across 339 cities nationwide.

NEET PG 2026 Cut-Off Marks

The qualifying cut-off (out of 720) for this year is as follows:

  • General / EWS: 262
  • General-PwBD: 244
  • SC / ST / OBC: 226

How to Check Your Result

  • Visit the official NBEMS website and open the NEET PG 2026 result link.
  • Log in using your application number and password (or date of birth, where applicable).
  • View your marks, percentile, All India Rank (AIR), category rank and qualifying status.
  • Download the result for your records.

Scorecard and Answer Key

The individual scorecard and the question-wise answer key will be available from October 1, 2026, through the same applicant login. The scorecard stays downloadable for six months from its issue date, so candidates are advised to save a copy as soon as it is available. This is the first year NBEMS is releasing a question-wise answer key for NEET PG, following a Supreme Court directive aimed at greater transparency in the process.

What Happens Next: Counselling

Candidates who meet the qualifying cut-off will move on to counselling. Admission to the 50% All India Quota (AIQ) seats is handled by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), while the remaining state quota seats are managed by respective state counselling authorities. The counselling schedule will be announced separately.
