Lucknow University Result 2026 Check LU UG & PG Semester Results at lkouniv.ac.in

The University of Lucknow (LU) has released semester results for the 2025-26 academic session. The results cover major undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, including BA, BSc, BCom, BBA, BCA, LLB, BTech, BPharm, MA, MSc, MCom, and LLM.

Odd semester results were declared in April 2026, and even semester results are being rolled out through the Samarth Portal and the university's dedicated result portal. Students can check their scorecards online using their roll number and date of birth.

How to Check Lucknow University Result 2026

  • Visit the official website at lkouniv.ac.in or the result portal at result.lkouniv.ac.in.
  • Click on the "Examination" tab and open the Odd Semester Result 2025-26 or Even Semester Result 2025-26 link, as applicable.
  • On the Student Result login page, select your Course, Semester, Exam Type, and Subject.
  • Enter your Roll Number and Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY).
  • Click Submit to view your result on screen.
  • Check all details carefully, then download and print the scorecard for future reference.

Grading System and Passing Marks

LU follows a 10-point grading system for all UG and PG semester examinations. Final scores are calculated from two components: 30% continuous internal evaluation and 70% end-semester examination marks.

Minimum passing marks vary by programme type. UG courses such as BA, BSc, and BCom require 33%, while PG courses like MA, MSc, and MCom require 36%. Professional courses such as BAMS and BUMS require 50% in each individual subject. Students must also secure at least a 'P' grade (grade point 4) in every paper — falling short means appearing for a back paper.

Withheld Results and Revaluation

A result marked "Withheld" or "RW" is not a fail — it means release has been paused, usually due to pending dues, incomplete documents, or an ongoing inquiry. Students in this situation should contact the examination section at lkouniv.ac.in with the relevant documents.

Students who wish to apply for revaluation can do so online by paying the prescribed fee within 15 days of the result declaration. If the revised marks are higher, the scorecard is updated; if lower or equal, the original marks stand. Applications submitted after the 15-day window are not accepted.

LLB Result 2026

For 3-year and 5-year LLB programmes, LU releases results in the form of a merit list, generally around ten days after the exam. The merit list includes rank, category, and provisional qualification status alongside marks.
