After the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) releases placement results, candidates in Ghana no longer need to complete their school admission entirely on paper. The Ghana Education Service (GES) now runs this stage through EntryLoom, an online portal that takes a placed student from confirming their school right through to printing an admission letter.

What Is EntryLoom?

EntryLoom is the digital platform used for the post-placement admission process for SHS and TVET candidates in Ghana. Once CSSPS places a candidate, their placement details are moved onto EntryLoom, where the actual admission — voucher redemption, form completion, and document generation — takes place. It's designed to replace the old school-by-school paper admission process with one centralized, digital system.

How to Check Your Placement and Log In

Candidates can access their placement information on the portal using their BECE index number and examination year. Once logged in, students can view which school and programme they've been placed into before starting the admission steps.

Step-by-Step Admission Process for Students

  • Visit the EntryLoom portal and enter your BECE index number and year of completion.
  • Confirm the school and programme you've been placed into.
  • Purchase or redeem your admission voucher as instructed on the portal.
  • Complete the Bio-Data and Personal Record Form, filling in student, contact, and parent/guardian details.
  • Save your progress — the portal stores each completed section, so you can return later without starting over.
  • Download the school prospectus and print your admission letter along with any other required documents.

For Schools and Administrators

School staff log into the same portal using their existing CSSPS credentials. From there, administrators can manage admission activity for their school, including reviewing submitted student information and updating the school's profile, such as its logo and address.

  • Have your BECE index number, examination year, and guardian details ready before you start — the form is easier to complete in one sitting.
  • Because portal details like URLs and login steps can be updated between admission cycles, always confirm the latest instructions through official GES or CSSPS channels before proceeding.
